I bought this effect shortly after it came out. I own several effects from this producer and in general I have enjoyed using them. Sometimes there are a few glitches that I have to figure out, or a few features that don’t work for me, probably I think ,because I am still running CS6 but in general I have found them to be useful. This Ballpoint Pen Drawing Effect sadly is not.
When I first purchased it and tried to run it, all it created was a muddy black mess, with a few light lines squiggled through it. At this point, the tutorial video was not available yet so, I waited patiently, and a few days later that video came up and I watched it, hoping it would help me figure out what was going wrong for me. Taking all the hints from the video I tried again and still ended up with a dark mess. At this point (Sept21st) I decided to write to the designer and ask for help. I sent a detailed e-mail including screen shots of various layers in my image hoping he could tell me what was not working. as of now I have not heard anything back, not even an acknowledgement of having received my request. I cannot recommend this product or the customer support that (doesn’t ) come with it.
