Clearing your browser cache is your responsibility.
Embedded content from other websites: Articles and content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). When do we collect information?
Your Personally Identifiable Information is only collected when you provide it to us. We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter or enter information through a form on our Site.
Other information such as your IP address, browser, and geo-location data may be collected, including pages visited and length of time on our Site so that we can better understand how to improve our Site and Services.
How do we use your information?
The purpose of collecting information you provide to us is for creating a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for you. Registered customers will be able to make faster future purchases and receive free product updates. The information you provide us with allows us to create a more personal and positive experience.
We may use the information we collect from you when you register an account, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To provide you with a customer account area that you can login to anytime to view your purchase history and retrieve your downloadable products at any time across any of your digital devices.
- To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested based on your purchase history with us.
- To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
- To quickly process your transactions.
- To send periodic emails regarding your order or other products and services. From time to time our digital products may receive updates and we will notify you of any free updates to your products so that you may access them through your customer account. We will also send you information about new and relevant product releases we think you would be interested in. Additionally, your name and email address will also be used to provide you with Site announcements such as changes to our Privacy Policy or other important updates that you need to be aware of.
How do we protect your information?
- Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
- We use regular Malware Scanning.
- Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
- We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
- All transactions are processed through a gateway provider (PayPal) and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Who do we share your information with?
Your personal information and privacy are very important to us and in order to provide you with the best experience, we do share your information securely with 3rd party services whom we are registered with. We never sell your information. The only information we share includes:
CRM: When you make a purchase on our Site, your name and email address is automatically imported into our customer relationship management (CRM) service provider, ActiveCampaign. This information is only used by us for communicating by email with you.
Vendors (Product Creators): As a marketplace, we sell digital products on behalf of vendors who have uploaded their products to our Site, making their products available for sale to you. When you purchase a product through our Site, your name and email address is shared with the individual vendor of the product you purchased. Vendors are required under their agreement with us to safely store this information, which may only be used to provide you with product support, free product updates, and notifications of new relevant products from that vendor. Many vendors accomplish this through an email newsletter, which you may opt-out of anytime using the supplied unsubscribe link at the bottom of any vendor email, by contacting the vendor directly, or by making a request through our Support page.
How Long Do We Retain Your Data?
For visitors and customers that register on our website, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Registered account data is stored indefinitely to allow for future purchases and indefinite access to purchased (downloadable) products.
If you leave a product reveiw or a comment, the review/comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up reviews/comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
How do I view my data?
Customers and registered users can view and edit their data anytime by logging into their My Account page.
How do I delete my data?
You may request for your data to be removed from our system at anytime by contacting our Privacy Compliance Officer at support@photographybb.com or by mail at:
