AQUARELLE PAINTER

ARTISTRY3’s Aquarelle Painter is our new watercolor-meets-sketch action. This effect was inspired by the poster for the Ed Sheeram “Songwriter” documentary, and incorporates 2 fully-adjustable paint color elements, combined with illustration-style sketch lines. We’ve also created our most beautiful background paper texture ever.

The effect is easily created within seconds by roughly painting over the main subject in your photograph (to create a selection of the subject), and then running the one-click action. All layers are left un-flattened for ultimate control over paint and sketch strengths, colors, and background paper adjustments. You’re going to absolutely love what Aquarelle does for your digital art creations!

ARTISTRY3’s Powder Paint creates a unique effect on your images, transforming them into oil-like paintings with a powdery soft effect on both the subject and around the edges of your subject. We’ve also included the ability to change various elements in the final image, including the background canvas color, the border visibility, width, and color, and several other subtle elements that create the full effect.

This effect will run automatically, producing a beautiful result with our default settings. No further customization is necessary, but for Photoshop artists who love pushing their artwork even further, we leave all layers un-flattened to radically extend the range of artistic effects you’re able to produce!

ARTISTRY3’s Dualighty pays tribute to photographers, lighting experts, and expressionist painters who broke the norms through their use of color. As the name implies, Dualighty sets out to recreate a popular photography dual-lighting style where a subject is lit on both sides using different coloured gel lighting to create strong color contrast in the lighting of a subject.

While this can certainly be useful on photographs, it looks even more amazing as a base effect before transforming your photograph it into a digital art conversion. The results will delight your viewers – and even yourself as the artist!

Color effects are one of the most subtle artistic transformations we can make, yet they can have such a dramatic effect on how the final piece of artwork is received. Color plays a huge role in evoking different emotions, which is the goal of expressionism.

Compatibility

PhotographyBB Artistry Actions are only compatible with Photoshop CS6 through CC (up to current).

English language versions of Photoshop only. Due to the way that actions work with Photoshop commands, this collection is only compatible with English-language versions of Photoshop.

This action collection does not include Adobe Photoshop.

Image Requirements

We have designed the Artistry Actions to work with high-res images, either RAW files or JPEG files, shot with a DSLR camera. Additionally, some of our actions include a version optimized for lower-res images shot with a smartphone or compact camera. The resulting artwork will render differently when running any Photoshop action on high-res images vs. low-res images.

The ideal image size for optimal results is between 3000-6000 pixels on the long edge of the photo.

And as always, something we are very proud – our actions are entirely non-destructive to your image files. Every one of our actions begins by creating a duplicate file, leaving your original image files completely untouched.
