PhotographyBB is a BC-based creative education platform that has been serving photographers and Photoshop artists since 2004. For over twenty years, this community has grown one person at a time, built on real trust and a genuine love for the craft.
Arts funding across Canada has been cut back hard over the past couple of years. Grants and programs that independent Canadian creators used to count on are either gone or no longer accepting applications. The safety net that helped small creative platforms like this one survive has largely disappeared.
That means the next chapter of PhotographyBB depends on the community itself. On people who believe that independent, Canadian-made creative education still matters.
We are building new creative tools, and better infrastructure for this community. Every dollar goes directly into content and platform development. No middlemen. No corporate overhead. Just a small BC-based team doing the work.
