The main features is the Canon 7D's new AF system. Autofocus at F5.6 is great for those sports and bird shooters that need a tele-converter on a long F4 super-telephoto lens. The fact that the AF system takes color into account should reduce focusing differences between subjects composed of different primary colors. No more backfocus on red subjects, I hope! I wish this camera was a full frame unit. I'll have to wait for the Canon 6D or other full frame camera with the advanced autofocus of the 7D. Trickle up technology anyone?
