Photo Assignment #8 – Love

29 November 2008 One Comment

Welcome back to the 8th Photo Assignment!

As with all our assignments, the challenge is to push your creative photographic minds to find NEW and creative ways of shooting our assigned theme. Through practice and participation in these assignments, you’ll find your creative eye opening to new ideas, inspirations, and growth in your development as a photographer.

love.jpgI’ve decided to make this assignment a bit more challenging than usual. This month, I want you to photograph an emotion that we are all familiar with in one form or another: Love
Take a moment to think about all of the people, places, or things (coffee…Mmmm!) that you Love, and how would you capture that in a photo. As with all our challenges, the goal is to shoot a new photo for this assignment, not to use an existing one.

If you find that you are getting stuck for ideas on this one, look around your house… I am sure that you’ll find something representative of Love. Remember what we learned in past challenges about interesting angles, shutter speeds, composition, etc…

This assignment will run from today Nov 28th to Dec 9th, 2008.

Happy Photographing!

I’m really new here and unfamiliar with much of what you do!
The magazine is terrific and I just love it.

My question is this: How do I go about submitting photos to your “Photo Assignment” project? I have several I’d like to submit but couldn’t find how on the web site – did I miss it?

    Thanks
