While on a photowalk in one of Vancouver’s most beautiful local parks (Stanley Park), I happened upon this coke can lying next to the sidewalk. Quite out of place in such an area of beauty, I was taken aback and decided it would make either an interesting photo, or at least a good statement.

This is beautiful…perhaps even contemporary art style, very modern theme and a very effective linking between going green, and going against it!
Nice work, a whole series of these in different colours would be cool…wonder what a red coke can would look like??

Is this an actual green can of Coke??

Good question Martin. The can was originally red as normal, but I had Photoshopped it green to make a statement about it being casually tossed into this beautiful park.
