 .JPG and .NEF
Often, I will set my Nikon D70s to take both .JPG and Raw versions of the shots I take. When I get back and want to take a close look at some on my Mac, I really just want to open the .JPG files and not bother with the .NEF raw files during the first 'cull'. Is there an easy way to just select the JPG files or do I have to individually command click on each to select a bunch and then open them? I'd really like to find a way that selected only the JPG files but all of them at once. Thanks Ron

 Re: .JPG and .NEF
It may depend on your editing program. For example in Capture NX2 I can select to see only NEF, only JPEG, or both.

 Re: .JPG and .NEF
another thing you can also try... I have picasa installed on my system just for quick viewing photos as it opens them nicely for viewing on the desktop without acutally opening the program. All you would need to do is open the memory card folder and run a search or file find.. type in the search query ".jpg" no quotation marks, and your jpegs should show in a list. View 'em from there and take out the ones you don't want. The only issue I can see is that you'll need a system to go through and delete the raw files that you didn't want. anyways I hope this gets you closer to what you need!

 Re: .JPG and .NEF
What I tend to do is to create 2 folders which are named JPEG and RAW which I navigate to when required
