Thanks for the question. Yeah, it was a decision I made when I first started the forums. Back in the day the Bulletin Board Systems or (BBS's) as we used to call them evolved into forums and became "BB's". It's a term that's getting lost nowdays with blogs being the newest means of interaction, but hopefully we can keep all the BB's alive! I think they have their place  Thanks for asking though... ironically, it would be a good idea for a blog posting

I think they have their place  Thanks for asking though... ironically, it would be a good idea for a blog posting  funny. just yesterday one of the kids (6 year old) asked me what my i liked best about the internet when i was at his age! somehow everyone seems to consider the web as something that has always been here - not only the kids. the first 'email' here in germany appeared in 1984 imho. the fist websites appeared 1990-1993. i bet only a very small percentage of this boards users remember one of the first browsers called 'mosaic' which later led into the 'netscape communicator'. not only photography has its history folks…

Oh Yes - i remember Mosiac. I've been messing about with computers since the days of MS-DOS, long before the internet. I was probably one of the first people in the UK to have a copy of "windows v2" when it was no more than a DOS shell. Ahhh ... the good old days of the 'Blue Screen of Death' ........
