This is one of the most interesting times of year for us. Both as photographers, and also as publishers of PhotographyBB Magazine. We tend to think of the New Year as a time for setting new goals (and it IS), but in actuality, anytime is a time for setting goals.

We have some great photography tutorials this month, including a piece on “Light versus Composition” which gives us a candid look at how either one or both of these factors can define our images.

Again, this month we feature two locations, but with a bit of a different spin this time. We are taken to the great Northwest Territories for a look at the uniqueness and beauty which can only be found up north. Additionally, we go on a field-trip to the Badlands of South Dakota where we learn the many benefits of participating in group photo treks.
